I put this question on "home n garden" by mistake - doh!
I've got some "glace lemon caps" but don't know how to use them. They look like crystallized fruits but other than being yellow don't really resemble lemon slices. Very sweet as dipped in melted icing sugar. Any thoughts please? (Not rude ones).

I think they are used for decorating cakes. If you made (or bought) a simple lemon flavoured sponge cake, covered it with some thin white icing, you could then lightly press the lemon caps in a pretty pattern on top of the icing. I guess they could also be used to decorate fairy cakes, cupcakes or even vanilla ice cream.
