I need to go to a podiatrist to get some orthotics due to a problem I have with one of my knees. Obviously I could just open the Yellow pages and find tons in my area but I would prefer to go to one which someone has used and would recommend.

I live in West Herts so if anyone has used a good one in that area then can you please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

I live in York so no good with location however I have had orthotics made privately and the best places to go are those that do the 'gait analysis' which is used to shape the orthotic to your foot, they are more expensive but better. Other places might just flog you a standard insole. AVOID SHOLL!

However you should be getting treatment for this on the NHS as it's not considered cosmetic, ask your GP for a referral to an NHS podiatrist if you haven't already gone down that road...
Try going to this place. West Herts Comm Trust-Nhs 0014, 3 The Old School House , George Street, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP2 5HJ
