There are so many programs/adverts aimed at "curvy women" us on the naturally slender side get sick of this....we want curves too!

this week I ate, 3 cheese and onion pasties in one day, 2 packs of crisps and a choc ice, and am still, "not curvy"

How do I get a "curvy figure"?

Bodily manipulation - a guy strioking you in the right places will push any spare to where he wants.

Actually, that probably won't work, but what the hell....

Where do you want to be curvy Petal? Do you have a "boyish" frame, as in small bust, not much of a waist and small hips and thighs? Also, how old are you?

Velvetee, I have a medium frame, small up top, and really no curves. I used to work out a lot, so am fairly toned. Am 5ft 8 and I am 46
yay at last people realising that "size zero" is not a good look.

Give me a proper woman with some curves any day

Though Petel if you can't get the curves then you have the same problem as me, I'm too skinny and just can't put weight on no matter what I do!!

see thats the thing Chuck, men like the curvy figure, and some of us women are not naturally curvy.

i get so sick of programs aimed at the curvy woman.

As a male, I prefer a very slim, no curvy female.
No disrespect to curvy ladies, its just my preference.

I do hate seeing Ladies showing their midriff hanging out with low waisted jeans etc and small tops, and especially showing their thongs/knicker tops. : - )

Sorry Girls, just my opinion.
Well I would say you are lucky to be toned. If at 46 you are still slender, then it's unlikely your body shape will change. Once you reach the Menopause, then you may find you gain weight in places you don't want.

You could eat lots of fatty foods, but this doesn't guarantee you will get curves where you want. The extra padding may deposit itself on your stomach and waist and and because all these unhealthy foods have lots of saturated fats, you may get cellulite, not to mention increasing bad cholesterol levels.

If I were you, I'd be happy with what you have.

oh thanks for that Rtaxron..

I know people cant help the way they are (well some of them can!!)

But I do think the naturally slim (no dieters) are ignored.....

I would love Nigella's figure, but I am healthy, so grateful for that
Take a photo of yourself....load onto Ms Paint and delete/erase the fat/cellulite pixels, painless & instant ;-))
Sorry, mis-read. Back to photo on Paint, add extra shape...
Nigella Lawson these days, looks rather overweight. She looks to be a good size 16+, but we rarely see those massive hips, because her lower half tends not to be in camera shot. (No offence to anyone with massive hips, male or female)
Well I'm naturally tall and slim, but erm..have the boobs as well, so i guess that leaves me in no man's land! : (

Velvetee, I hit the menopause , early, so am on HRT already. I have also had 4 children, so really am in pretty good shape, I put it down to the many hours of Jane Fonda exercise videos I did years ago lol

Thanks for your help mate xx
Guess it doesn't matter at the end of the day. So long as you feel OK, and you're healthy - what the hell!
Its all in the genes.I`m the same shape now as my mum was(gawd love her) and my daughter is a bean pole just like her Dad.Whats meant to be will be.
Well be glad you're a fit lass. I strive everyday to maintain a lean, muscular frame. I have to be careful what I eat and exercise at least 3 times per week, or it all goes to my thighs and bum.
we like curvy women not fat women!
I agree about the genes. We're all slim in our family - on the female side. My mum's in her 60's and looks brilliant for her age. Hardly any wrinkles either, so if we're all blessed with a good skin as well, it can't be bad.
I have the greatest respect for females, who are the ones that have to bare children to their hubbies.

Us males don't have to go through this pain, all the hormones stuff, drooping boobs, belly's, bums etc after childbirth, so full marks to you all.

Now time to ZZZZZZZ, bye all.
