Feeling dead quarrelsome:)

Just the last couple of days there have been two threads on here that have really got up my nose, both of them posted by what I consider to be inconsiderate selfish people. One is about a poor guy whose coughing is annoying these people's tenants and the other is about some people with neighbours whose kids dare to play in their own garden during the summer ( the very cheek of it!).
Any of you ever seen threads that makes your blood boil over seemingly trivial things or am I just in a quarrelsome frame of mind?

I think it interesting that both post you refer to seem to be about neighbours and noise.

Someones else's problem shouldn't make your blood boil, unless you've experienced something similar, I guess, that you can identify with here.

I agree they are inconsiderate and selfish, they should try living as a deaf person for a while, they maybe they'd realise there is good sound and bad sound and we have to accept and appreciate them all.
And also if you are feeling quarrelsome now, maybe the idiot who posted also felt quarrelsome and posted something controversial to get the quarrel he set to. Some people thrive on an argument and annoying people and write sh*t to do this. It's the only way they can get any attention, sadly..
So chill. Next time you read somthing that will make your blood boil, remember: it's posted to do that and you shouldn't rise to it.

Yeah I must admit to always having been prone to seethe with righteous indignation when I see people being got at for just existing.
I tried some logical debate on the black father's thread as well Leg, not a lot of point though and I noticed that the poster was always wading into men generally on another thread to do with pregnancy, so I think that question was just slanted towards being a platform for the poster's own issues whatever they may be.
I do think though that in the past 20 years people have generally become more intolerant of other people's rights to just live as they wish to without interferring. Maybe it's because I'm a closet anarchist that I'm having a rant:)

Was it not one of my threads that prompted you to join AB in the first place??? ;-)

And now you are an ardent Tory, just like you should be!!!!

Very true boogie, though I do try to keep out of the 'dog in crate, 12 year old that has to work to pay for his mum's funeral' type posts, just occasionally though people really p1ss me off!:)

Hallo wardy, how's you?

It was indeed and I've got to say I've never enjoyed quarrelling with anyone as much as I did with you, and look at the good it's done me.... all of my Lenin and Che Guevara posters are now gone and proudly replaced by gilt framed images of the lovely Margaret Thatcher:)
Go do a lemming impression please.
Whoops sorry obnob its not you that switched it on its gravy above you.
I will be orf to sl@g him off now.
My accopalies to you.
Baroness Thatcher is indeed a very handsome lady. And apart from a few issues (and I stress only a few), she was the greatest leader since Churchill.

I am glad you have seen the light. It can be a troublesome time for Leninists to transcend in to, but when they see the positives of an individualist-based, free-market economy where greed and selfishness ARE good for the nation and an "I'm alright Jack" attitude is OK to have, you feel unburdened.

And Karl Marx had a seriously hairy beard, he must have been wrong.
Hey Nox - catch ya later -have a day to myself at last !

I generally avoid posting on here of late as i come on all bright and breezy -read the posts from the night before and find I am being dissed or discussed in my absence-I then become quarelsome.I generally dont let the buers get me down and I am not going to justify myself but its bl00dy annoying that just a few can spoil every thread that you post in.

I agree theres been a few spiteful threads of late -even a year or so ago at least you knew who you were dealing with -a mental image of that users persona lets say -not now tho -it sucks big time.

Try straying from CB and lo and behold theres someone up your arse try to be quarelsome -theres no escape aaarrrggghhh -lol
You wanna see my stiches drissy?

I must admit Wardy it was easier to be a Marxist when I was younger but my progression from Arthur Scargill to Alan B'astard is still far from complete:)

just mailed you Dris:)
Morning everybody,

The threads that annoy me are the ones in Animals & Nature where someone is asking where they can get a certain breed of dog or cat. I usually try to remain diplomatic by saying "why don't you try a rescue centre first before going to a breeder where you will be expected to fork out loads of money" when really I want to say "there are so many rescue animals out there in need of a home and you want to go to a breeder! Don't even bother to get a pet if that is your train of thought you selfish inconsiderate person".

tigger takes a deep breath and calms down
