the only way to test for diabetes is by a blood test go back!! or lloyds the chemist do free checks these are the symptoms i had before i was diagnoised.
If you are thirsty then you must drink.

If you don't drink enough you will get an irritated bladder or even a bladder infection and this will make you want to go for a wee more often. This may be what has happened to you. Having a drink will not make you want to wee immediately - a lot of this might just be in your mind.

Drink plenty (about 8 glasses of water a day - and even more in hot weather). If you don't like water then drink squash. Not too much tea or coffee and avoid sugary drinks like coke (they will make you more thirsty). However, any drink is better than no drink.

Talk to your doctor about this when you go to see him about the possible ME - not drinking enough and being dehydrated might well be the reason why you are feeling so ill and tired.

And as Donna says, have further checks in case it is diabetes - I had presumed it wasn't when I answered because you said you had been given the all clear.

Yes it would make sense, esp with the ME scare so i do hope i get to the bottom of this!

My doctor really isnt interested and so brushed off diabetes early, that is why i forgot about it and thought of ME.
I guarantee you had a blood test for diabetes whilst you were in hospital - it is more or less routine.

Back to the GP for you.
Get yourself checked for diabetes asap, as has been said go to Lloyds and get a free test done,

I am under 16 so Lloyds wont do it >.<
Have you got more that one gp at your clinic, if so book in to see one of the others or even the nurse.
