Tiffany Engagement Ring

Can someone tell me how much a Tiffany Legends, Tiffany set engagement ring is (in silver, white gold or platinum)? I have tried searching online but the Tiffany & Co site doesnt give the prices for engagement rings and the only ones i can find with prices are replicas or knock offs (which i am not interested in)

Regarding Tiffany, some say if you have to ask how much a Tiffany engagement ring is, then you can't afford one.

I have no idea how much they cost and I believe you have to make an appointment to view their engagement ring selection. I think Tiffany is elitist and I'm not sure their rings are any better quality than any other leading jewellers. The prices are probably just higher.

no expensive stones would be set in silver as it is way too soft to guarantee it would last.

I definately can't afford it, but it wont be me buying, so thats not a problem. Just curious to the price. There is other jewellery listed up to �12k on their web site and was wondering if the engagement rings (specifically the one listed in my question) were around this price or much higher. Was hoping someone on here may have known the price. After all, a girl can drean can't she? Thanks anyway.

It'll depend on the size and quality of the stone. the pricing starts at $1,200 (approx �600), but will escalate depending on your chosen diamond. I think the smallest diamond it can hold is .25 carats, but i may be wrong.

Thanks missmoore. I have always loved that particular ring with its simplicity and setting but never been aware of the price. I have found rings with the Tiffany style setting but was wondering how the price compare to the actual Tiffany ring.

You know, I always remember my mum telling me she had been engaged to a really well off bloke before she met my dad. The ring cost a fortune and she was forever misplacing it. When she got engaged to my dad he could only afford a cheap ring, but it was the most valuable thing she had ever owned and she never let it out of her sight. Its not the cost that matters, its the value......
