The most obvious one, is don't forget to take a boat ride!!

There are plenty off little streets to explore with shops and cafes.

It's very expensive, and don't sit down ion St Mark's square, if you do you will be surrounded by wandering musicians who will serenade you and expect about 50-70 pounds. Also Dont feed the pigeons there and if you do go on a gondola expect to pay a small fortune.

Apart from it being very very pricey, it's a beautiful city. I was there in 1990
