Like, how are you supposed to use each one? Is one of them a spray and the other one you pour? And do you spray the spray straight on or into your hand first then onto your face? I've always wondered even though I've been shaving for 20 odd years.

Eau de toilette just makes him smell nice.

The alcohol in Aftershave is supposed to close the pores, and tighten the skin ... AND smell nice too.

But avoid both if you're expecting to "go downstairs" because it makes our "bits" sting.

I dont think that's quite true Jayne. Mr Boo often slaps some 'smelly on' and has never once said it hurt him going downstairs into the kitchen.
Theres a nice difference in price i know that.

tries desparately to think of a witty comeback, but draws a blank
Nice to seee you without a comeback

Although..........................
Apart from a price difference, there is a difference in intensity.

Eau de toilette is quite mild and can be applied quite generously, requiring a sharp intake of breath, and a sqeal of agony to be reprerssed by clamping the jaws together and taking short stagger around the bathroom trying to get your face between your knees.

Aftershave is for the 'real man', and the white-hot agony of its application can be countered by clamping the jaws around the rim of the basin, which can leave unsightly teeth imprints, but does prevent any wimpsih tendencies to sob like a baby and roll on the floor.
