Apologies for what may be obvious answers:

1. Ask your brother. You never know, he might know where she went! Depends how they split of course.
2. Facebook
3. Friends Reunited
4. International Directory Enquiries
5. Google her name, might show up where she's working now or give some clues.

I think any other methods include private investigators! Maybe she doesn't want the photos if they're of a bad time in her life. Maybe if she did want them she would know where to find you.

Good luck!

Thanks mormess,They split on very bad terms(completly my brothers fault) And the photos are alot from when she was a baby and growing up,He actually sent her to germany so she could be with her sick granma then completly emptied the house,I managed to safe her photos just in time because he,d actually binned them(yep he,s an a hole)Anyway thanks for the ideas.
I'm glad you've more of a heart than your brother Jonah ;-)..You could maybe try contacting some Berlin newspapers re personal notices?..
Good idea Linda. You can google foreign papers and then contact their editorial dept., to ask which might be the best way of advertising for your sister in law. Best of luck. x

Does she have a distinctive name?
I have found quite a few people with unusual names via Google.
One took me several years, but in the end she showed up somewhere...
