Just an update!
Hi all,
Just to update you all seeing as I have not been as active as I would have hoped on here!
Were are now on week 27 !! woo woo. Weeks are flying by. Feeling great, been busy getting house in order! Nursery is now finished! We know what were having, but keeping that between me and hubby! Grandma to be wants a surprise!
Everything seems to be going well, got a scan on Thursday, Im having 4 in total - they are keeping a closer eye as I am on medication for high BP! Although to be fair its been 120/80 for most of the pregnancy! which Im amazed with!
Hope everyone else is doing well, Im still finding my feet with buying stuff, didnt realize there was so much on offer out there. Went to the Baby Show over the weekend, that gave me loads of ideas! Take care all. Till the next update!

I have to admit, when you said you was having 4 in total, I thought you meant babies!!! lol I read it back 3 times before I realised you meant 4 scans lol
Only another 10 weeks and you will be full term! Has it kicked in yet that youre going to be having a little newborn with you soon?
It sounds like everything is going really well and thats great! Keep resting and looking after yourself and I'll look out for the next update :)

I had bets with myself that my little girl was going to be ginger like her brother, but no, she's a brunette!
Bet you enjoyed the Baby Show, probably was tempted to buy the lot eh??? I would loved to have gone to one!
On the note of buying lots of things.... I got into the habit of buying wet wiped and nappies and bits and bobs every time I went shopping, so now I have a steady supply in my house... so no need to go out and spend loads in one go!
I had bets with myself that my little girl was going to be ginger like her brother, but no, she's a brunette!

Hi Tipsey, glad everything is going well for you, especially re your BP.
Like andrea, I would buy something every week when I went shopping, usually wipes, nappies, etc and that helped me out no end. I only used the last of my nappy stock last week and my little girl is 5weeks now! My God that's flown by so quickly!
Oh, and you are way more prepared than me - my little one is in her nursery (literally as we speak) and I still haven't finished decorating it! LOL

I have also been doing the wet wipes and nappies thing everytime I do a shop, although with grandma and grandad and dad to be all doing the same its stocked up quite nicely!
Baby show was fab! Bought a changing unit there! Typical, had "Dad and Grandad" loading it on the train - as we travelled back to North Wales! We looked a right sight!
Dont think it has kicked in yet, as Im STILL not showing! but I knew I wouldn't, as Im a big lass!
PS. Nursery is prob only room finished in the house! lol.

We bought our cot last weekend and are spending this weekend doing the nursery. Can't wait! we've also made a start on buying wet wipes, nappies etc and have tonight ordered the pram/travel system!!! we're trying to spread the costs as much as possible but I think the main purchases are out of the way now.
Have you joined tesco baby and toddler club yet? we received a voucher for a starter pack worth �12 which included a couple of money off coupons, full size pack of huggies wipes, some tissues, muslin cloth, talcum powder etc just by buying a pack of newborn nappies! fab!
I've not started thinking as far ahead as the birth yet but I just know that day will be here before we know it!
Anyway, look after yourself. Catch up soon!

want2findout I didn't find out about Tesco club untl after I had my baby, but just to let you know that Boots are really good too - you get a free changing bag with some freebie bits inside and they send you money off vouchers and samples and coupons for points (I got 500 points yesterday which is worth �5 for spending �15, which is basically a tub of formula and a pack of nappies). You also get double points on baby products.
