Do you want to move? Can you afford to move? Is it necessary? i.e. you need more space. Is it just because you fancy a bigger kitchen/living room/more bedrooms/larger garden/a garage. The possibilities are endless! Also - could you, in the current climate, get a mortgage? Only you know the answers! Let us know your decision..!

I think you should. It's exciting moving house, though I've given it up now as I love where I live and i don't think I could face the packing again. We've always moved on the spur of the moment - one time we were out shopping and my husband suddenly decided we were going into an estate agents and next thing I knew we'd moved.

I have seen a house,i lived there from 85 to 88 with my mum and dad before they divorced.I was 9 when we moved out and i have always loved that house and im not very happy where i live now.
financially its not a good time to take out a mortgage

but i only have to borrow another 50 grand on top of what i pay now but this time it will be with my girlfriend so i will only be paying half of everything and not all.
well we are on the brink of a recession, if you buy a property now it may lose an amount of its value but you will still owe a hefty mortgage.

you may not even get the loan, a lot of banks are not authorising new mortgages and loans because of the financial climate.

Yeah do it, in fact, buy two, you only live once.

thats want i want to hear.
Good, buy one abroad while you're at it.
NO.

I was married to a soldier for years and always told myself I would be happier when we moved. As you can imagine we moved lots.

We were never happy - he was regularly unfaithful.

Moving will not make you happy.

Only you can make you happy.
