My middle child loves this film and she watches it on a weekly basis.
It was OK the first dozen times........
I didnt see it but it was one of my favourite films and book as a kid.
I take it it was the new one with Jamie lee Curtis? I like the old one with Jodie Foster in it.

I imagine if I was younger I would probably watch it more for one simple reason: Lindsay Lohan.

However, what in God's name happened to that girl. The curse of Holloywood no doubt. She is now a coke-head alco-pop miscreant isn't she?

Jooooles.

I have just checked, yes it is a remake!!!!!

Never heard of the original before. I imagine Jodie Foster could play the stroppy teenager very well.
yeah she did, it was a great film. One of the few books that held my interest when i was a kid too.

The remake is actually ok, i saw it a couple of years ago but if you ever get chance to catch the original, give a watch.
I didn't know there was an original either!
blimey, im feeling my age now then! lol

I have to admit to having laughed me botty off watching the original with the kids - thinking it was part of the warm up for silence of the lambs.
lol , I remember the jodie foster vesion, its the one I always preferred!
so are the remakes EVER better??? I dont think they are really! But i reckon a lot of that has to do with the memories we have from our childhood.

Does the original still use old Chinese voodoo as well?
