silly question but driving me mad..... runny nose

whats the best thing to take if you have a runny nose constantly.... apart from putting a plug in it with some cotton wool or your fingers, can anybody give me some advice plse as its driving me mad. thanks x

Some sort of anti-histamine should work,maybe piriton as that doesn't make you drowsy.Is the runny nose because of a cold or some sort of allergy?

im not sure daffy....
its been running for weeks now (sorry for being crude) but with lots of flem so it must be a cold though im not having any other symptoms???

I would try the piriton then,if that doesn't work see your GP for some tests on the phlegm/snot.You may have a sinus infection that needs antibiotics.x

I think that it definitely sounds more like an allergy than a cold - have you changed any of your products e.g. shampoo, washing powder etc recently?

I get like that when I eat dairy products as well, have you changes your diet?
