I use Wella Koleston Perfect permanent hair colour - 12/1 Light Ash Blonde, and mix it with 12% peroxide which is what hairdressers have always done for me for the past few years. I am naturally blonde already but this makes my hair lighter and I love the colour. Is this colour and strength of peroxide at all damaging? I just have my roots done every 3 weeks and my hair seems in good condition. Just wanted your opinions on this matter

if u use to much peroxide u can get brain damage, also if u die ure hair then go swimming your hair goes green and it doesnt go for a while (1 day maybe) The brain damage isnt severe/life threatening but still. i dont know much on it so dont take my word, but so far im the only answer.
Hi there, the idea is to try and put back into your hair what you take out. So use a good shampoo and conditioner every time, and use intensive treatments such as Wella System Professional Hydro Mask or Colour Saver Treatment (available from salons as in-salon treatments or in retail form) regularly. Also you could try using a 9% peroxide. One way or the other, peroxide doesn't give you brain damage so don't worry!
