Tell me to sod off to Sport if you will (but no-one goes over there) but what is the relevance, if any, of the England football band adopting that song?

''Its the song from The Italian Job''

The new England coach is Italian...
the original film was set against the backdrop of England playing in Rome, it's got confused with hype in the footie fans heads i think

Yes BB but they've been playing that song for years and years so its not for that reason.
The song was sang to Mr Bridger in the movie. Mr B was played by Noel Coward.

Noel is French for Christmas and our Enemy (i.e The Swiss this evening) are cowards.

Cowards are called yellow which is the colour of the Chinese.

Chinese burns hurt your arm and a bone in your arm is called a humourous.

Perhaps that is it, just humour???
I love Italy.
