No I have never lied to my doctor. What would be the point in that? The doctor can only help best if you are honest with him.
ooooh bera, what did you lie about?
Lie? Course not. How can he/she treat you if you make something up?
What would be the point in lying to a doctor?

If you wanted some time off work, &/or needed a medical certificate to cover you, I'm sure they'd be able to tell if you're pulling a fast one or not.

Although, I have to say, there are lots of people out there skiving off, who are really fit enough to work! If that's what you mean?
Yes, I have done to be honest.

However this was a return to work check up when I was still actually in considerable pain, I lied and said I was OK.
I remember when I was at work.......

One or two members of staff used to come back after a few days off sick & used to stand in my office giving me a sob story of how 'ill' they'd been. The fact that I could still see paint in their hair &/or on their nails was a dead give away!

I was always sympathetic at the time, but after a few days of them settling back into work, used to casually ask them how the decorating was going. They'd soon realise & the blushing cheeks were magic! Bless 'em!
Ah, well that sort of lie is okay Wardy, as long as you don't peg out on the job! ;o}
