Walking exercise

Hi,

I take a brisk walk everyday for an hour and at the weekend sometimes up to 3hrs. I eat a very good diet. I don't want to lose weight as such, but stay fit and in shape. Is this enough?

I use to do 40mins of aerobics and 20 minutes of toning 3 times a week, but I have found this is becoming painful as I have wasting cartlidge.

Am I doing enough to have the same effects?

Walking is a fantastic form of exercise and the amount you are doing is fantastic. Keep doing what you are doin.
