has anyone been on xenical for longer than 6 months? I've been on it for approx 4 months combined with a low fat diet, the weight did come off but all of a sudden any side effects that i had (which were minimal because i was on the correct diet) have stopped completely. My weight has remained the same for the past month and im not having ANY side effects from the tablets anymore. Does anyone know if they can just stop working after a certain length of time? Many thanks.

First of all well done on your weight loss and maintenance. I don't think that they stop working, i think it is more likely that your diet is now more well balanced and low in fat. All that Xenical do is extract excess fat from your food. Are you on the same dosage as when you were losing weight? Do you have more weight to lose?
If you have more weight to lose beware of hidden calories in foods that contain little/no fat ie, alcohol, fizzy drinks, etc etc.
