But if you are not the great size 14. And you cannot change your body shape. Then you feel as bad. Can anyone see that?
I hear you Petal ( not that I am in that predicament at all) but I can't get over why people think its okay to say "Aren't you skinny" or "you need to eat" to thin people. They probably wouldn't dream of saying it to a fat person, Im not denying that being too thin is dangerous but there are far more people dangering their lives by scoffing to many cakes than those who are deliberately starving themselves. If I was skinnier I would walk around telling everyone to put that cream cake down.
Goodsoulette, I am not a skinny woman, just tall and naturally slim built. Thanks for hearing my cries lol. I would love a body like Nigella. Guess we should all be grateful that we are healthy xx
Virtually any size is alright if you're healthy and can take it. A size 18 might look huge on someone who's 5ft. tall, but a friend of mine's 5ft. 10" and takes an 18 dress. She actually looks pretty slim. It also depends on where the weight's carried.
I bet, if you had a body like Nigella , you would only be complaining about your Gigantor style bottom.
overall it's all about being comfortable with your own body and liking yourself cos if neither apply then you'll never be satisfied
As a bloke, seeing all this just strengthens the point that women talk a load of ****!! Listen to yourselves tit for tatting over a bit excess......We all cant look the way we did when we was 21,Blokes accept it, why cant yow all ;-P
Exactly, Maggs. I've always been slim, the same as everyone else in the family, but after having the children, my boobs never seemed to go back down! It can be embarrassing when people (men in particular) keep glancing towards my chest when they're talking to me, but I've learnt to live with it. It's just a case of being confident with who you are, or doing something about it (unless you're ill) if not. x
it does get annoying tho ice when it's your chest being spoken too and not your eyes i have that too but hey we deal with it as best we can
lol - we have no choice, do we?!!!
My last post seemed a bit judgmental so wish to correct myself...i just think that women emphasise too much on their appearance...i mean they dont make show for men who QUOTE ' Want to look good Naked' or is there a daytime show for Blokes,,,,NO......Equality means Equality....If we can do it,then why cant you XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
You are right Stevie, blokes of all sizes strut around naked and proud, without covering anything up. I feel like I am getting inspected though when I do it so I always have my Nirvana tshirt at the ready.
I put on a rake of weight with medication -unfortunately I didnt recognise in time it was the medication and it duly has hung right in there.

I am naturally medium so to get called fat did hurt a bit.
However due to peronal circumstances i have re-assessed my lifestyle and although I havenn tweighed mysel - either before (well i wouldnt have really0 and now I dont know what i have lost but its enough that people I barely know are stopping me in the street and commenting on it. -yip I know i sound smug -thats cos I am.
Think it must be about 3 stone - (in 3 and a half months).
I feel fab -I just kidded myself before that i was happy -was I eff -lol
Dris, you are a ******* superstar bab....im proud of you...and hey brag about it for sure cos i would XXXXXXXXXX
You've done brilliantly D, and so long as it doesn't make you feel poorly, then you should be commended for all your work!
Thank you both -I do wish the circumstances for the weight loss were different but it took me off the drink (I wasnt bad) but I had to T Total (driving) and just eat fruit and chicken and Special K and it has just fallen off me -my children (now mini adults) are so proud of me cos I really did it for them -I know u should do it for yourself but they were quite naturally worried and are now so proud of me.J even wants to shop with me cos I am a trendy mum -loving it xxx
Awww bless - that's great! x
well done dris babes xxxx
stevie sounds consistent and obviously is fun to be with as indeed laughter, talking etc is the greatest turn on to me(not alone) especially before during and aftyer close times. Cose is how to judge the size as long as you fit together. thsat is people, clothes and how you feel about "you"i only feel bad about myself if i have unwittingly hur anyone. Anyway Body wise as long as it is all there enjoy life.X
