Evening in Paris Perfume. Everybody used it. It was sold in Woolies.

Creme Puff compressed powder.

Pan Stick (concealer)

I'll try and think of others!
I still use Creme puff,i love it :)
In the 50's my mum used to smell of Pond's Cold Cream and Evening in Paris.
Us kids used to smell of Germolene.
Just remembered what my nan used to wear - 4711 cologne.
Can't find any specific shampoo starting with A, only Anti-dandruff!

There is Icilma Shampoo, which your gran may have 'cut a dash' with back in the 50's! More olden day products here...

I believe Pan Stick was a Max Factor product.

Lifebuoy Soap
Pears Soap

Actually, there was not wide range of products after the 2nd World War and men, women and children shared the same toileteries - not like these days were products are made specifically for them.
Ah, Octavius - Bristows Lanolin and Vaseline - I remember. Well actually I don't, but my grandmother might!! ;o)

I don't remember things like Body Lotions being about. Perhaps they were but ordinary folk didn't use them.

I can remember Nivea cream or vaseline being used for everything.

No shower gels, hair conditioners, body scrubs, foot scrubs, etc. etc. etc. How did we manage?

Alberto Balsam was popular in the 50s, as was Silverkrene.
I wonder if your gran means Armani, which was a setting lotion for hair, not a shampoo.

Ooops actually it was Amami-getting mixed up with designers now! lol
My mum used to like Crabtree and Evelyn!
My nan used to use Aquamanda perfume or talc.

I think that was in the 60's, though!
Pip I had Aqua Manda in the 70's, we all used it when I was at school. The closest I can find inn smell now is Samsara, very citrussy.
Ooooh! I remember that wonderful psychedelic packaging :o)

Not quite as far back as the 50's but in the late 60's I wore Biba cosmetics and Mary Quant white lipstick !!
I remember Aqua Manda - everyone wore that or even Brut (I know that was supposed to be for men but it had a rather feminine smell)
As kids we used to have Lifebuoy and Camay soap (I used to like sniffing the Lifebuoy wrappers!). That would have been early 60s though
I can remember my mum using Amami setting lotion
