I'm certainly not a hoodie or baseball cap back to front fan, but it does seem ridiculous compared to people swanning around supermarkets 'completely' covered up!

I mean, who knows who's really under those veils - could be anybody?!

Although I must say I find them spooky and alien, and tend to stare rudely. They seem out of place in a UK shopping centre.

I wonder how many other people find them creepy ? Not that you'd be wise to admit it nowadays.

I hate the veil and everything it stands for, in our country and culture if you cover someones' mouth it means don't speak. By wearing a veil you alienate and distance yourself from those around you, but if that's how you wish to express your faith then good luck to you. Until we hear reports of women in burkhas going on criminal rampages, I've never felt intimated by a gang of women in hijabs, dunno about you?
