I have just come back from my 16 week midwife appointment where I heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time! I have made my jaw ache with grinning so much :)

I was also very brave and had my bloods taken without aneasthetic so am so proud of myself as Im needle phobic.

Surely your lad wont manage to keep quiet, especially if either of you manage to catch anything?

4get, it wasnt a scan, just a checkup with midwife.
I have a smile of pride for my son today . He rang to say he was sat at traffic lights in his mondeo when he saw a cars lights approaching at speed from behind and then the car smashed into him writing off my sons car ! He was ok apart from a jolt thankfully, the other guy took full responsibility saying he hadn't seen the lights queue as he turned the corner ! Well , after they had exchanged insurance details my son went back to work , managed to trip over his combat boots and landed on the concrete , cutting his knee and smashing his mobile phone to pieces in his pocket. ! I was proud because when he rang me he was so positve and just said it was a new day tomorrow and no use worrying about what had happened now :-)
xx
