Too complicated for me lol

My ex wife used to say that I didn't understand her. Well I think that's what she said....
I can understand mind games being played by teenagers..you know the sort of thing:

''I have had enough of you ~ take me home now!''

Then outside your door:

''Why have you brought me home, you ba$tard''

Not from personal experience, of course.
teenagers do play mind games but its when they are played by more scrupolous people you should be worried!

they tend to get into your head with suggestions slipped into innocent conversation's, then all of a sudden you start to believe what they are saying as gospel.

a bit like a parent that suggests they could not manage without you and before you know it your a 53 yr old virgin still living at home with mum?

or even worse, a woman who wont leave her wife beating husband because they wouldnt manage without them?

sleepy he was horrible....serious little man syndrome! Very sad. What made me sadder was that his wife colluded with it, even after seeing how extreme and vimdictive his behaviour was. I started out feeling quite sorry for her, but she saw how much better her life could be, and still decided to stick around...I know even an emotionally abusive relationship like that could seem "normal" and "safe" to a person, but only if they haven't seen an alternative reality....I can't believe the perspective she gained by taking part in the show didn't provide sufficient impetus for her to get out. And not only for her sake, but her son's sake too (the one with muscular dystrophy, not the other one, who was just like his dad).
unruly, sorry love, I thought that Wife Swap may have been what got you thinking on mind games, as one husband on there "enjoyed playing them". Sick, sad man.

I think life's too short for any kind of games, unless they are of the apple-bobbing or Twister variety! If I feel something, I will say it, if I would like something, I will ask. I expect others to afford me the same courtesy. No patience with game players, I just walk away, metaphorically and physically. x
Mind games are when someone gives you the massive come on, pesters you day and night, tells you they want you, and then disappear off the face of the earth.
Pesters?????
I think "pesters" is the right word.
Whatever lol I could say the same ;-)
