Hi
Does anyone out there know where I can buy frozen leeks from? I had a bag last year but can't find any store that stocks them now (only mixed winter veg). They were so handy!!!

Why buy frozen ? leeks are now in season and are lovely in a cheese sauce , yummy !!

Dont know where you can buy them but leeks can be frozen after blanching them for 2-3 minutes. Not as good as fresh but good enough for adding to stews, soups etc.
