Sasha, don't despair. There are some lovely guys out there. Some guys just tend to hide behind bad behaviour to impress their friends and look like they're tough. Little do they realise that this sort of behaviour only makes them look like fools and gives them no chance of landing a really great woman! :o)
To be fair though, there are just as many very stupid girls / women out there as there are men, which makes finding the good ones difficult sometimes. But hang in there and the right guy will find you! :o)

Sasha, without meaning to be rude I've yet to see you post something positive about men.
This being the case I'm going to suggest you look in to the men you're attracted to. As a possibility.
It's just I believe you attract what you put out. And as I said, maybe it's time to look in to what you put out.

im going to be honest. i can only write sterotypically, simply because everyones different. in other words, not all men/boys are so mean. but anyway...
in my opinion, girls are actually worse than boys in terms of "meaness" two boys, best mates, fall out. meet up, fight. break up. meet again next day. "hi mate, sorry about all that, forgive and forget? yeah? lets go for a pint" sorted.
two girls, best mates, fall out. dont meet up. text other friends bitching about best mate. spreads rumors. lies. gossip and so forth. the feud can last for days, weeks, months, and even years. girls, if you ask me, are schemeing, planning, deceiving, twisting, lieing little sods when they go into bitch mode.
of course, like i said, this is all sterotypical, simple because it has to be. but still, i have to say, i think girls and so much more mean than boys. even when they turn into men and women, the exact same thing.
whats nice to know is, not every man and woman, girl and boy is like that! sometimes even boys can be as bitchy as women! and lets face it...who wants to fight a girl anyway? ive already lost one eye, id rather not risk some crazy girl scratching her way to the other!

It's a good point - I don't post questions that are positive about blokes, but then I guess it's like customer service isn't it? You're far more likely to b1tch about bad service than applaud good service. And this question wasn't aimed at anything that has happened to me, rather a friend of mine. But as a matter of interest, I don't have a specific type of guy I'm attracted to - they just have to be tall!
But, to redress the balance (and to kind of agree with dannyday) here are things I like about men (these are all big generalisations by the way)
They b1tch less than women
They have bumps in all the right places
They have a unique perspective on things which is generally emotionally uninvolved - good to balance most girls out
They are better at poker and pool and therefore give me a good game
They are less high maintenance
They are relatively easy to please
