Meningitis/TB jabs at school

If someone didnt have the jabs at school i take it that would leave them susceptible to getting tb or meningitis

I guess so, I didnt have the TB one at school. Apparently the county i lived in had stopped doing them. Now everyone gets a little concerned when I say this but none of my friends had it either!!
hi DC_FC, neither did I have the jabs at school, i had/have a real phobia of needles and somehow managed to wangle my way out of having it. I've been fine but s'pose i would be at risk as they say.
TB is on the increase in this country, particulary the type which is resistant to antibiotics, my daughter had meningitis and that is really awful, I'm sure that your local surgery will help if youy're concerned

I remember having 2 jabs at school, 1 for polio and another jab for something else,

its not me, i just know someone who didnt have the jabs(he says hes scared of needles) and i thought hed be more susceptible to getting infected,
