I wrote a letter with my 2 mates but we never actually sent it. It was 1977 and we so wanted to meet John Travolta and Olivia Newtron Bomb! As if Jim would have fixed that for us!!!!

I did fix it for Jim though! I got a badge saying so. Me and some friends used to do regular jumble sales and always sent the money off to the hospital he did work for, cant remember which one it was now, was it stoke mandeville???? yep, i think thats the one!

I asked Jim to fix it for me to meet Shakin' Stevens :o)
A couple of weeks after I sent it I was horrified to watch the show and see a girl get to meet Shakin' Stevens!!! I moaned for weeks that I sent my letter first and that it wasn't fair lol

I saw him in concert a few years later, still got the pink silk scarf with his name on it somewhere!

Cor the memories are flooding back :o)
I wrote to him and he fixed it for me.

My real name is Bupbabah and Jim fixed it for me to have my name sung repeatedly in the opening credits - just listen.
