Another Milestone......

My eldest son left Junior school today!! I have to say its been an emotional roller coaster today lol but we got through it :)

Has anyone else reached any milestones/firsts recently?


Oh & I'm attending my first ever wedding on Monday which just so happens to be my mummies :)

My daughter will begin year 6 in september, its was an emotional day for the leavers yesturday..so I have it all to come! Im gonna bring a camera#!

we went to a leavers disco last night & all the girls looked soooooo grown up, girls really do seem to grow up long before the boys :( kind of made me glad to have boys lol

I went to my 4 year old's nursery on Wednesday for a 'special circle time' with the children who were starting big school this Sept. The staff had made certificates for each one, as an award for a particular talent. So, one had "great DIY skills with the toolbox", others had "a beautiful smile", "great colouring inside the lines", "a good friend to everyone", "colourful outfits" etc etc.

My little one had "enthusiastic singing" which I thought was spot on! I had tears streaming down my cheeks the whole time, and I wasn't the only one. My little boy, my baby, is now a big boy on the way to big school...*sniff*

lol ! my little boys end of year pictures was so funny, it had a picture of him wearing a snow white dress with the caption

"Despite the big choice of costumes, Adam was detemined to wear the snow white dress"

he seemed happy enough wearing it!!! apparently there was some fighting over it!

Hello cazzz - yours sounds just like one of mine! Keep that photo 'til his 18th, then watch him squirm.....

On my 4 year old's 18th, we're going to tell everyone what he did the other day when he met his new teacher for the first time. She bent down to say hello and to ask his name, and he gave her a massive kiss before she could say anything! Obviously a ladies' man in the making......xx

aww I had a 10 pack of tissues at the ready lol but was a big tough nut instead...Only coz my son looked so happy :) otherwise I'd have been blubbling with the best of em lol

I'm on my way out now to shop for the food for the big day :D why oh why did I say I would do the food...must be my madness taking over again!! ;-)
