In theory yes. However, how do you know that the person you have been talking to is who they say they are and not some mass murderer in jail or a cannibal on death row?

No it doesn't sound mad. Sometimes you just get a natural 'click' with someone. It can happen.

Well you know the rules about meeting, somewhere public, and always make sure someone else knows! Play safe and don't go with any high expectations, that way you won't be dissapointed!

We haven't actually planned to meet yet. We have talked about it and I know all about the dangers etc. I just can't explain why I am feeling how I do. I haven't even met the man!

It's understandable, when you think you have fallen in love with someone for the first time. Usually we already ahve met the person, but this is obviously different. Just becuase you've met over the internet doesn't mean it won't work.I know people who have met on the internet and married! All I'm saying is go for it but be cautious like you would with someone you don't really know. You have nothing to loose.

He is a bit older than me. But seems really genuine and has been honest and upfront from the start. Just trying to reason with myself as to why I feel so strongly for him...!

No, not at all. I have had relationships etc.... but I just cannot put my finger on what it is about this man.

It is possible, that he is the one! Maybe you are worrying too much about it. It's right to be cautious, but maybe you should be enjoying it.

I am enjoying it. I think about him all the time and I look forward to when we next speak. It just seems so crazy that I can feel so strongly for him.
