Depends what age you are but usually about 6 weeks in plaster should do it.
How did you break it btw?
Boy you are so going to get pulled apart by the nutters on here asking this sort of question ie "what one is it", "are you right or left handed", "use the other one then", "how did you do that, nudge nudge wink w ank" "she must have had huge calf muscles then" etc ,etc, etc,
But on an almost serious note now ask dr spock and I had a broken arm once doing the high jump at school and did not know and also run a mile afterwoods and after the adrenalin run out I realised that I had broken my arm.
I cannot remember how long that took to heal though.
Oh dear I have not been very helpfull to you have I.
ASK YERR BLOODY DOCTOR.
Oh sorry again but the pills are not working, it probbably depends on how old you are and how fast you heal everybody is differant (oh well can you give me 3 stars for trying ) anyway good luck with the wrist hope it heals soon mcraig.
Mine took about 6 weeks to heal. But I guess it does vary with age etc...
Yeah it needs to be put in plaster though. I had one and didn't realise it was broken for 3 months then they only put it in plaster for a month and it was fine. If it hadn't they would have had to rebreak it and pin it then put it in plaster for 6 weeks so go to your A+E asap if you think it's broken
skreecheeboy you have just bought back memoires for me I broke my arm as I said doing the high jump without realising it and when I did go to the hospital they told me that it had broke and reset itself in the wrong position and they would have to break it again and reset it and they done that and never felt a thing as was put out and think it was only about a month when the plaster come of so mcraig just dont worry about it just think of all the women that are going to sign your plaster
