might not be your cup of tea cypruslover but if i were to go to a fancy dress party, then it would have to be Scarlett O'Hara for me! I just love that costume! All bodice and bosoms! lol

Did you fancy something funny or something a bit classier? or maybe someone off the telly? There is so much to chose from, also, do you fancy making the costume yourself or would you prefer to hire one?
I suggest trying a fancy dress shop. They sell some outfits quite cheaply and hire great quality outfits if yourew illing to spend the cash. They can also advise on trends in popularity , so you dont go as something the same as someone else too.lol

Hi unruliejulie.. I fancy something different... thinking along the lines of a can can dancer or belly Dancer.... can't see anyone else going as those!! Hopefully not, anyway... yes legend, me and my husband are going to a fancy dress shop on Saturday morning to get an idea of the costumes that they have for hire...
the costume for either of those would be great cypruslover! I have a friend who is a real live bellydancer!!!!! lol

i once went to a party as a Spanish flamenco dancer! that was a good one, i scraped all my hair back into a bun and had a kiss curl on my forehead, i even had some maracas! lol, great fun!

I'm sure lot's will be going as nurses, maid's etc.... LOL....... I want something different.....

The best costume I have seen, which in fact was quite easy to do was the man going as BA Baracas (Mr T).

He got blackmans skin paint from a joke shop, a swimming hat coloured the same and had toughs of his own hair coming from a slit in the top. A stick on beard and loads of garden chains around his neck with somecheap clip on earrings from a charity shop. He wore old overalls with the sleeves cut off and monkey boots. Very effective.

You could goes as Amy (also from the A team, with eighties hair, and a cheap all in one (lets get physical) jump suit.

Alternatively, you can buy werewolf kits from joke/fancy dress shops and ebay and go as Teenwolf 1 and Teenwolf 2. They take a bit of prep, insofar as you have to stick the facial hair on, but very effective.
Reckon you should go as Buzz Lightyear and Woody!
My other half and I went to a halloween party as Jack Sparrow and Supergirl. He wore loads of my clothes and I bought him a great pirates hat from Ebay for 5 - and he won the award for best costume.

My Supergirl costume is very cool and not at all smutty as I don't like those!

Bonnie and Clyde
Anthony and Clepatra would be quite good too
