Does anyone else seem to think the ideal of a relationship is being phased out? Why is it so very difficult to find the right partner in todays society? Are we all becoming way too fussy for our own good, too many check boxes when meeting up with a potential partner ?
I am losing the will to live.....

I dont as much think that people are becoming to fussy, they just seem to be thinking more of the check box thing and having to fill their specifications.
But along with the good points do come faults they wont like aswell!
I love my b/f to pieces, we have been together 3 years this friday, and he does tick so many boxes, but he also has his faults, as does everyone else. But i have learnt that no one is going to be the 'perfect person' for me!
My fella does all the cooking, he cleans, he does everything for me, i couldnt ask for more!
But he also farts & elbows me in the head in his sleep, and so many other things!
I think people need to realise its more about compromise then ticking ALL the right boxes!
I'm not sure it is very hard to find your perfect person these days, but maybe thats because I already have mine.

I used to get bored after 5 minutes but then I met my other half and that changed.

He has good and not so good points (teeth grinding and head-butting me in the night!) but he's the best thing that ever happened to me

After 6 years we're still best friends too

You'll find yours when you give up looking - thats what I did
