No, the eye is not made of skin.
It is made up of 3 major layers - The outer layer is mainly connective tissue, the seond one is highly vascularized and pigmented, and the inner layer is home to photoreceptors that detect different wavelengths of light and send a message to the brain via the optic nerve at the back of the eye.

The inside of the eyeball is filled with fluids called aqueous humour and vitreous humour.
