try and get her to drink hot/warm water with a slice of lemon that sooths mine.

Be interesting to see other peoples answers as I suffer from this on and off.

Tell her to try the Activia challenge!

Seriously, I worked with a lady who suffered with IBS and often felt bloated and she said it did make a difference.
