We're lovers best friends and he is the most amazing boy friend. I couldn't fault our relationship at all everyone comments on how suited we are for each other. So in answer to your question I think there is soul mate out there for everyone
Not at all. We've never argued, dont get me wrong I've had the occasionaly strop...maybe once since I've been with him and I'm usually a really firey person I dont know what it is but we just get on really well. We're always taking the mic out of each other laughing being stupid all sorts of things plus the more intimate side of the relationship is mind blowing. Perfecto!
That does scare me in case something like that happened, but I'm a live for the moment person since a near death experience in 2005 which, may I add without him I wouldn't have got through it. I'm happy, believe he's my soulmate an even just after 2 weeks of going out with each other we were talking about marriage and all that big picture stuff...weird huh?

I dunno, see I don't think soulmate just applies to relationships. My friend Imogen always calls me her soul mate and shes right. maybe because we don't have sex is why we work so well. I am coming to the conclusion that its much easier to get physical with someone if you dont actually have to talk to them much let alone live with them.

I guess then it's all based on individual circumstances and up to the individual couples to label the relationship how they deem fit. At the moment in time when someone claimed someone else was their soulmate I guess they were and future circumstances changed that. For all the people on this thread that are saying they once had a soulmate and are no longer with them do you still consider that they were you soulmate?

Do you think whether or not you find a soulmate is based on your parents relationship? My best friends parents went through a messy divorce 5 years ago and she is totally against marriage, soulmates etc. On the other hand I my parent have been married for almost 30 years and would be lost without one another, in line with that I totally believe in soulmates and marriage etc. Does anyone else think this has an impact on an individulas out look towards future relationships?
legend, 4get would make a lovely soulmate but Im not sure if youre too old for her lol
river, im sorry if i made it seem like not arguing was a bad thing. That wasnt quite the reason me and ex split up. Like you we moved quickly at first, engaged after 6 weeks but after 5 years of marriage nothing was changing in our life.

I always thought it was possible but now i am not so sure. No disrespect but I don't think you can say you have found your soulmate after just 2yrs. I thought I had found mine and we have been married for 40 yrs. I don't see us ever parting but I wouldn't say we were soulmates. People change over the years. To anyone who really has found thiers, congratulations. You are very lucky
