What/where is it?
Question Author
well, as far as i can gather, its a dermoid, but had one scan, its hanging from a 'pendicle' attached to the ovary.

doesn't sound too pleasant... is it serious?
Awww no, are they the ones with hair and teeth and such?
Question Author
Yeh, (the ones with everthing but brains) i did some reading up, i found that its rare to have cancerous type, malignant etc. Am quite worried.

My luck. Its not pleasant at all. Not sure how serious it is, next appointment February 28th.

Snagged, I do believe you have one attached to your 'a'.
no stewey... that's a skin tag... I was hoping no one would notice it lol...

'hair and teeth?... Jeeeesus ;o(
I know how you feel, have been going through a big scare myself with a breast lump.

Whatever it is they've found it and can treat it accordingly. Cysts don't tend to be cancerous as far as I know and I'm sure if they'd found something sinister they'd be moving fast on it.

I know it'd hard not to worry but make sure you ask plenty of questions at your appointment, write them down if you need to, to get all the answers you need.

Good luck :) x

Snagged and Stewey,
Im glad you boys are having fun. This aint funny - dude - its gross. And, erm, leave Jesus outta this one.

Jenna,
Thank you honey, think ill need more than luck, Thing is I think they moved on pretty fast, after the first appointment, got the second letter before the second week past from the first scan.

Ive been telling my friends, I received three bunches of beautiful flowers, two boxes of chocolates and a bongo bear.

I've had 2 of these dermoid tumors. Unless it's very large, the dr should be able to save your ovary. I had one on each, had both removed, and am fine. Don't worry!
Yes, opiates, we are having fun, but we are not making fun of you personally: it is just frivolous banter. It is unfortunate that you have a bothersome medical problem: however, you must realize that this is not place to get serious and authoritative medical advise
Sorry Opiates... didn't mean to offend... ;o(

Im not actually that worried to tell you the truth.

Its the how do i tell granny part!!

She's protective, a carer. She'll cry about it and make me upset. Im not gonna tell her. The sad thing is then, Ill have no visitors at the hospitol. : (.

Since im not talking to many people in my family and moved. Its difficult to get that kinda support i guess. Just knowing that someone else knows about it too. You know?/
Question Author
Oi you two,

Im not shouting at you, I was joking maself. And, I am fully aware that it is fun and banter as you say.

Didnt you get the, leave the Jesus out of it part?

I can take and make jokes all night long, all day too. Ask my work colleagues. Probation Services needs a clown like me once in a while.

Dont worry, i wasnt being serious.

Words ey?? They just dont ake the right kind asounds.

L.

Im gonna go see prison break now - online - my drug.
cool... ;o)

...so does it really have teeth and hair?
Question Author
Well, they must have. Not sure about mine though - yet.

Your funny man.

Okay, go to google, search ''dermoid cysts'' in the IMAGES section. And see the sight for yourself.

Hope you didnt eat anything too tasty this evening, you might see it again in a different light, might smell too. Puke.

Mwaaah.

Thanks you guys, this has been entertaining. Working out like my MSN messenger service.

x

As usual, so glad I bothered.
Question Author
Drestie,

Please Hun. you have to understand, that i cannot take this seriously, although i know i should. Im glad that your okay after your surgery, but i dont wanna think about my turn.

Thank you for sharing your exerience with me.

I find comfort doing prayers, so i think im fine with well -being and so on.

You might notice that nothing is for certain, i mean i only saw the scan once, the lady said, its not polycystic ovaries like the time previously, there was one - so i cannot even say that it is that for sure, my question above says, i think i might have one,

And the main body of the actual question is quite foolish too, if you think about it.

Its my nature to be silly, i do well with it in life, care free, no actual responsibility for things i dont want control over, life is fine, i wanna keep it that way.

Opiates, I wouldn't tell your Granny anything yet Wait until all preliminaries have been completed (tests etc}, and then tell her: whether it be good or bad. Obviously you have a good relationship with her, and you say she is protective and a carer, so she will want to give you support and you will gladly accept it and be comforted by it. Anyway, I hope things turn out positive for you: sorry again about the frivolity; drop in again and I promise snagged and stewey will keep each other under control!
Question Author
You're a sweet heart. x

Thank you.
