When i'm down with flu and have fresh lemons squeezed in some boiling water with honey!
i dunno about once you have it but eating raw onions stop you from getting it or garlic but you have to do it early
Same as nat for me I usually add a bit of whisky. Its really important with flu to rest your body to allow it to recover. Don't try and do anything just go to bed, sleep and rest. Keep yourself hydrated too and try to eat something if you can. Have you got any vitamin C tablets. A big dose of those usually helps.

Hope you feel better soon.

:o)
Sleep, sleep and more sleep. It's my solution in fighting any illness. In the early stages you should also top up on fresh vitamins. Eat as much as you can raw too, as you'll need the enzymes that you get from raw foods to help combat future illness.
A whiskey omelette!
Take a half bottle of whiskey and six eggs.
Drink the whiskey, then while you are thinking, "I wonder what all these eggs are for?" you will have forgotten about your flu.
If you really have flu, and not just a heavy cold, rest as much as you can. Drink plenty of fluids, including fruit juice for the vitamin C content and keep warm.
