It does perplex me. I never get bored..surely there are plenty of threads on this site to sift through (just look at allthose sections!) so rather than post 'I'm bored' one can make themselves useful answering something interesting.

No, you are not the only one, I find it irritating as well.
But not as irritating as when you post an answer, but someone creeps in just ahead of you and ruins the flow of the conversation. This is primarily a chat room, not an interruption room, am I right?

if i want to know to capital of outer mongolia id google it and if i had a medical query i would email a medical site or ask my gp i certainly would not rely on the wisdom of this lot :) hence most of my questions are nonsensical rubbish but im serious when the pc is off :)
