Had a bad car crash when I was a teenager... through a brick wall, into the side of someone's house, ending up in their front room... luckily nobody in the house or car were injured...

We were both ok....so no worries...wicked bruises though, I have never seen a bruise like it my life. The car hit me in the leg and luckily my little boy was on the other side of me so it was me who sent him flying down the road. Bless him though, he wouldn't cross the road for ages after that.

That reminds me, goodsoulette, of the one time in my sleep I had a strange feeling that there was something heavy lying on my chest trying to choke me very very slowly and just before I woke up I remember seeing a weird skeleton face ............. turned out I'd fallen asleep with the duvet over my face, but it was probably the scariest thing that's happened to me in my sleep so far

One of mine was in a very old country house on a conference. Was lying in bed in the dark when I was thumped very hard on my leg which was scary enough until I realised there was no-one anywhere near me at the time.

We asked the staff if the place was haunted the next day and they got very funny with us!
Whilst in the Army in Northern Ireland I was in an RUC Station when it was mortared. Your life does literally flash before you.
