How to conquer stomach churning nervousness that you get with a first date (when you haven't dated in five years)?

The only one I can think of is drinking, but I don't wanna be drunk when he gets here!

At the rate I'm worrying I'll be having more than two! Have tried cleaning (don't want him to think the house is messy), am gonna try to have something to eat (if I'm gonna try hard not to get drunk before he gets here, I don't wanna get drunk too quickly once he's here!)

Am worried the conversation will dwindle, I won't feel comfortable. Silly other question, but do I leave my shoes on lol, I never wear them around the house but would he think thats odd lol can u tell I'm nervous!
oh just relax and enjoy good luck xx
Are you going to be going out this eve with him?
just be yourself... that's what attracted him initially?...

He's coming round mine to watch a film, that's probably why I'm a tad more nervous, I'll feel like the hostess lol
It's always a lot better than you imagine
what film you watching?
Oh bless you mate as well !! He will probably want to get rat-ar$ed with you, I would. When he arrives greet him and say "hello would you like to get fishfaced"

If it was me I certainly would be thinking about liberating quantities of bourbon. He might be needing a discrete visit to the small room too, so have some Mozart playing loud downstairs.

lol whiffey, never thought about visits to the loo, good thinking! He did ask me what drink I like so he knows what to buy.

Dunno what film we're watching yet, hope we find something we both wanna watch, I assume we're gonna watch one from my collection though as he didn't say he was gonna bring one!
Just be yourself, don't change your routine for others, i'm sure shoes or no shoes won't make the slightest difference, sometimes you can try ''to hard'' to impress, my bet is, hes more nervous than you going to your house, once the ''ice is broken'' so to speak, your be fine, alchohol is fine, but don't let it be the answer to you being nervous, it could give either the wrong impression, or spoilt your night

Dim some lights, some soothing music etc in the background, order a chinese/curry and job done, remember, the way to a mans heart is via is stomach?

Have a good night
ha ha! I know the 'shoes' dialemma!! Don't wear them but make sure your toes are nicely painted or at least not all long and minging!! Or, put some funky flat ones on? What time's he coming?? Is this 'that' one you have seen and was asking you to put something on ebay?? Or am i completely wrong!!??
White knickers, and make sure the outline shows (vpl). Stuff the thong rubbish, thongs are a dead turn-off. Why would you want a little piece of string up your bum cheeks ?

The best tip however is - don't drop your drawers for anybody for at least 3 months.

you got it sair thats the one! I always wear socks tho (totally unattractive lol). He's coming round at half eight. I'm pathetic, I'm now worrying about really small things like do I gesture for him to sit right next to me or on my other settee?
All i can say is, dont leave your shoes on, but dont wear animal slippers either :-D

lol I have got 'can't sleep? ... think sheep' ones but I don't think he'd wanna come in lol
