iv got a pair of topshop pumps and theyre so soft and nice except for one thing - the bone from the top of my big toe rubs on them and hurts *alot* .

whats the best thing to put between the shoes and my skin (bearing in mind some of it will be seen) to stop it rubbing?
or what can i do to make them better?

Could they be a bit small for you or narrow for your feet?

You could try some pop socks, primark do some fab tight like material socks.

Vaseline can be used to soften leather type shoes, i use it to soften the heels, rub loads in and gentle flex it.

You could try and put something footshaped but wider than your own foot at the relevant part in to gently stretch it so that it fits better.
Buy some COMPEED plasters. They are primarily for blisters but I have different sized feet and when I run I have this problem. They work a treat.
You could take them to the shoe shop - they can sometimes stretch an area better than you can at home - and only takes a few minutes.
You can stretch areas of a shoe by rubbing with the back of a dessert spoon. Sounds strange but I can confirm it really works.
Clairey - if it isn't too much trouble - and if you have the time - could you please let us know if we gave you what you needed or if we need to keep looking?

Thanks for your help.
