It can be unconditional, but at the end of the day there are limits, as with anything, no matter how much you love someone and really LOVE them, you can only put up with so much of their s**t, mud sticks. You can still love someone but not be with them anymore.
in answer to the first bit, i have known some extremely attractive women, but as i got to know them more, and discovered the real person, they became rather ugly
equally, i know some women who at first seemed rather plain, but then their personality shone, and now i see some beutiful ladies

li dont believe in unconditional love because if it existed the world would be perfect, and it certainly isnt.
unconditional love i think only matters with your children! but saying that look at the news in the world and it puts my theory in doubt!!
but i love my children unconditionaly!!

when it comes to other people i think it is something that happens and not something you can force!!!
Every parent finds their little child (however ugly and manky) incredibly beautiful. Its natures way of ensuring that the parent looks after the child. That is pure and unconditional and sometimes irrational love.
