No it was my idea and I've never watched cracker. But I have been a disgruntled woman :-)
could even be some one from here who knows .poor girls .
as someone else has said on wardy post, if these are connected to the previous murders of prostitutes in Norwich, this would place him maybe in the Thetford area, could it be this man

And yet your still get prostitutes getting into strangers cars up and down the country tonight.

Is he conning them into getting into a vehicle 1st, promising drugs to them, or killing them on the spot before dumping them?

4getmenot,

lets hope not, or it will be the unsolved murders.
apparently the 3rd victim was strangled whereas the first 2 they think may have been poisoned or died of a heroine overdose, so he could be tempting them with the drugs.
Terrible news. Yes of course prostitution should be legalised and laurence it IS taking place in residential areas NOW, that's the problem.Girls and men need somewhere safe to work where suitable precautions can be taken to keep them safe. Anyone who'd like to help with this by petitioning Govt etc can contact the "All women count" website or the British Prostitutes Collective who are all actively seeking a change in the law.
Criminalising women who work in the sex industry causes deaths, rape and abuse. It always has and it always will until we get a sensible change in the law.

I'm sure the rate at which he is killing we will soon know
read wardys question on news section laurance pitstopbunny has put some really good posts
And for him to have murdered within the last 48hrs it has got to be someone who is well known that they trust.
It's someone who they got in a car with, if they're desperate for a fix or for money they don't care if they trust the person or not!

nox,

its an industry that is here to stay whether people like it or not, i have no issue with it being in a controlled enviroment, whether that ever happens remains to be seen, tho you will get your anti prostitute lobbys ie not on my door step brigade, plus by legalising it, would custom suffer as a result, ie seedy/dark alleys preferered to a legal brothel, not wanting to be seen if you know what i mean
maybe before katangal but if you knew there was a muderer about you would be more causious, I just think that other prostitutes would notice a stranger lurking too.
Just seen this thread - 5 bodies now?? OMG!!
Ive never understood why it aint legal. If they want to charge for sex then why not. Tax their earnings.

They are putting their lives in their hands getting into strange cars.

With DNA advances they will catch the killer hopefully soon.

These things have happened loads in UK and USA so they will have a sh!t hot profile i would imagine of the probable murderer and why he would likely to be doing it.
It was like the women who heads the Prostitutes thing said yesterday, if they need a fix or need that money they will take risks and won't think about the consequences and prostitutes are never cautious, thats what makes them so vulnerable!
I agree that it should be legal and monitored. The problem then is the underage prostitutes and rent boys who cannot work legally. What happens to them? They will still be working the streets and it will be easier for the pervs to pick up the vulnerable!
Terrible and terrifying.

Just pray the killer gets caught.

Great website on Jack the Ripper. If you click on the left hand list you can see all the victims, suspects and even the Police Officers involved. Very informative.
I have to agree with nox here that prostitution should be legalised and regulated. They have done it in Germany and the girls are now far safer than before, as are the punters.

This spate of killings is truly terrible! No matter what anyone may or may not think about these girls, at the end of the day each of them is somebody's daughter, perhaps sister, somebody's grandchild, somebody's friend and this will break so many people's hearts forever!!! I feel so terribly sorry for their families and friends. Not all of the girls in this profession are in it as a result of bad family background and hardship, some come from good homes but have chosen the sex industry as their career. It doesn't really matter though, as they are all human beings who - just like all of us - make good and bad decisions in life. When I had a large apartment in Frankfurt, Germany many years ago, my neighbour was a high class call girl / prostitute. She was stunning, well spoken, had a degree and was a really polite and friendly girl. She was earning fortune, with which she planned to buy a house and retire some day. She kept herself safe by always having her well trained Great Dane with her wherever she went.

I just hope they catch the mad man (and yes, I do think it is more likely to be a man, simply because of the strength required) who is doing this and lock him up for life! And this time, lets have the life sentence actually meaning his whole life!
