I take part in various 'craft swaps' on Groups on the internet and as a condition of taking part in the swaps you agree to
' COMMUNICATE via the database, you MUST acknowledge when you send/receive items. If you are struggling to meet deadlines,be open and honest...we prefer you skip the swap and send it on
to the next person, and perhaps you can get it back at the end to do your entry.
- KEEP TRACK of your commitments. DON'T sign up for more than you can handle. If you are in over your head, let us know and pull out...we all know that life 'gets in the way' sometimes!'
We have someone who agreed to the above and has been holding on to 3 or 4 pieces of other peoples work and is ignoring all forms of contact from the Group. Would it be possible to take her to the Small Claims Court in order to get the work back. The cost of the items is negligable, however people have spent time etc on the work and it is the principle of the matter, she has been incommunicado since 1st April however she opened an E card I sent her on her birthday last week so I know contact details etc are ok.
