Depending on the whereabouts of your op, drink plenty of fluids - plain water if you can. This will help flush out any anaesthetic etc out of your system and generally rehydrate your body. Hope you're feeling better : )
also get some early nights , if possible get someone to kook after you for a few days, leave the housework and ironing for a while . lucosade might help too.
try some smoothies, good nutrition, jogurt (live) echinacea to boost your immune system, or ginseng. Get well soon!
I was gonna say water and super smoothies, guarana is a good kick for energy.
Sometimes takes a while for anaesthetic to wear off and you still feel sleepy. So long as doc says you can go back to work on Sat I'd basically say the same as others,- Rest rest rest, water, smoothies, veggie soup and maybe some natural supplements.

Hope you feel better soon, take care. xx

Thanks guys, I sent my man out to asda last night with a shopping list. Put some marshmallows on there to for good measure cos I thought they were bound to be important in the recovery process. Off to drink me a smoothie :) x
