My friend and I were chatting yesterday and we were wondering what sort of wrinkles are standard for a 27 yr old. Neither of us have any that show when our face is relaxed but both have a couple of lines around our eyes when we smile. This got sparked after a girl I went to school with came in and she was covered in them, she had more than my mum.

They're not wrinkles, they're laughter lines!

lol.. is that polite for wrinkles?
Depends on your lifestyle etc, plus how much ''Blue circle'' you apply to your face?
It's what I describe the lines around my eyes when I smile, I'm the same age and noticed the same thing the other day!
? laurence
?ummmm
LOL laurence. doesnt it depend on type of trowel
A really ''BIG'' trowel
Think the genetics come into it as well. I met a girl who told me she was fifty but there was not one line on her face, perfect skin. So I asked her what her secret was and she said that her mum also had fantastic skin and it was in the genes.

Also my gran who is 92 has better skin than my mum and gran swears by Nivea (kinda contradicted my previous statement but what the heck!).
Whats a blue circle?
we all tuck our skin into our genes?

The Avon lady had no wrinkles?

Ding Dong
its a bag of ''cement''?
Well I'm 24 and I have got a wrinkle right in the middle of my forehead! I hate it. Plus my sister found a cluster of grey hairs in my head! Luckily I've got blonde hair so they're not very noticable but just knowing they are there is making me feel old before my time.
I'm 28 and when people guess my age its usually between 19 and 24 which is great but some people who were in my year at school look like haggered old woman. I think you know who I mean redcrx ;-)
My 18 year old daughter has wrinkles on her forehead and I dont have one,but then she is a sulky old bag and always frowning!!
i know who you mean 4get, im sure she looks older than my 34 years.

I think it also depends on when you have kids, Im sure ive got more wrinkles in the last 16 months than the 16 years before that lol
Keep out of the sun is the best advice. I used to work for Blue Circle so get my cement cheaper.

Im not really after advice about preventing them, I always use sunblock and I think im ageing pretty well. I was just wondering waht sort of signs are normal. I do however have poretty old looking hands, only cause they work so hard though
I've seen your photo goodsoulette mate, and yea, your ageing very well indeed
jeez, you're only 27! stop buying into the crap in these magazines etc-they want your money that's all! next we'll have anti-wrinkle cream for 19 year olds (if we dont have it already). You wont start getting 'real' wrinkles till you're nearing 40.enjoy being 27 and stop worrying :-)
