More a rant than a question. I have never come across so many rude fitting room assistants in my life as i did this evening on Oxford Street!. Worst culprits were (in order of rudeness) 1, Topshop, 2, New Look, 3, Mango, 4, Miss Selfridge.

The girl in topshop actually sent me on maze through the fitting rooms to go to the exit, only for me to find it was right next to the entrance!!! stupid c*w

Better make this a question so it doesnt get removed! Where is your best and worst fitting room experiences?

Don't shop in London. All them shops are in other towns. And us townies are lot's nicer : )
hi angel-cake, not excusing wot happened to you in top shop, but my daughter works in a clothes shop.. and you should try working in a changing room for a stint.. alot of the abuse they get.... etc.... so maybe thats why some treat customers like that?
In large department store in Birmingham I was going to try on some dresses. The assistant showed me a nice little black dress but I said it wouldn't suit me as it was short enough to show my knees (not my best feature). She insisted it would look great so I tried it on and when I came out of the fitting room wearing it, she said 'Oh! I see what you mean about your knees ....'

At least she was honest
i know what you mean on monday i went into manchester went into new look there was trying some stuff on and wanted another size i asked the assistant if she could get it me please, she looked at me up and down, and then huffs and puffs, when she came back i told her isnt that her job to help people and i didnt like her attitude at all,no need for it.
