Nuicance calls

I get several every day- "You have a message waiting, call this number to get it" etc, some faint foreign voice on a crackly line... What is the number I can call to get rid of these?

go on the telephone preference service website and register on line they can stop some calls but not international which are a real pain!

Its the Telephone Preference Service,Scarlett.They're online,you don't even have to phone! It just takes a few minutes to register.

We're registered to telephone preference service it's great also,
If you register for caller ID through BT the words International Call comes up on your telephone screen so you can just not answer the call which is what we do.
