Stayed at a mates and his gfs house last night... watched them enthusiastically devouring toast, cereal and eggs first thing... yuk! I really can't stomach brekkie: usually just 2 coffees and a few fags!... occasionally a big fry up at the weekends...

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

When you sleep your body goes into a sort of hibernation.

If you wake up but do not have breakfast it stays in that hibernation state.

Eating a breakfast starts your body "working" again.

I believe in the Army you can be put on a charge for missing breakfast.

Well... if I was in the army, I'd be 'under charge' permantently!...
i cant eat first thingin the morning either, a cup of tea and im on my way usually. twice a week is probably how often i have breakfast and its usually something like a bacon sarnie.

About 11 i start to get hungry so may have a bowl of cereal if ive not had brekkie
Very true about the army. My ex wasa squaddie and they do get put on charge for missing breakfast (not that he ever did, greedy git!!)
research showed that people who miss breakfast are more likely to be over weight

I'm fortunate then as not overweight... I get ravenous around 11.30am... grab a couple of rolls... and am happy until tea...
I'm with you snagged, coffee and fags. To eat immediately when I get up makes me want to gag.
I never used to eat breakfast, it made me feel physically ill, and my good lady wife converted me by force as apparently it's a sign that your body is full of toxins if you can't stomach breakfast. For the first 2 weeks I felt like sh1te, then suddenly I began to feel a whole lot better and I agree, you do need to eat breakfast, and coffee and fags can't be great for you can it? Lol
No i don't eat breakfast - too tired to bother even chewing it in the mornings.

Catch the train to work and have a cuppa tea or a coffee.

Then have lunch at 1.45pm.

Dinner at 7.00pm.

At weekends i usually have a bacon sandwich or fry up.
I have to have a cup of coffe and either cereal or toast before I can do anything. I really look forward to my breakfast. I don't eat anything else till lunchtime.
I can't eat 1st think, it would make me feel sick, so just a coffee until my Breakfast at 9.30
It seems as though I'm the opposite to many people on here; if i don't eat within half an hour or so of getting up, I start to feel quite ill. I really enjoy a hearty breakfast each day, I couldn't function properly without it. I can't remember the last time I didn't have breakfast first thing in the morning.
As a shift worker, my eating patterns are all over the place, but i do try to make the effort to have breakfast, as they say ''an army can't march on an empty stomach''

Its the most important meal of the day.

Ps, coffee, fags, are these before you brush your ''railings'' ? Now that really does turn the stomach
I don't have time to eat first thing what with getting son to school etc,but when I get back I then eat at about 9.15. I have either toast, cereal,or beans on toast or scrambled eggs.
I never miss breakfast, unless I have the hangover from hell. I love breakfast.
I eat as soon as my feet hit the floor in the mornings ...normally it has to be somthing crunchy ...like crisps
I cant go without breakfast otherwise I feel faint & sick. I can eat anything on a morning. I have often had left overs at 7am like sausage casserole or curry!

...all this talk of 'chowing down' first thing is making me feel quite ill!...
I love breakfast. Sometimes i have to force myself to eat something even if i'm not hungry otherwise i feel really weak and a bit faint. Cornflakes with bananas and golden syrup is my fave.
