Hi all, I have found a lump in my breast and don't know whether it is just a lump that is usually there like when you have them round about a period time or not. How can you tell? Do the lumps feel different from the usual ones woman get? Many thanks.

I don't know the answer but any lump should be investigated. It most probably is nothing but better to be safe.
If you notice any lump on your breast it is advisable to see a Doctor. There is no sure thing as a lump feeling "normal".
It is silly really st my age but I really like it when I get three stars for an answer :-)

hi if your lump moves when you feel it then it's most likely to be just breast tissue. if it is hard and doesn't move when you move your hand around your breast then it might need checking out. Feeling pain is a good sign though and you shouldn't check your breast when your due on your period coz they do feel different. Hope it all works out ok for you if your worried go to the doctors just to ease your mind
